Bozorgmehr (Boz) Vakhshori was born in October 1952 in Kerman, Iran. His passion for art began at the age of seven, when he started to draw with charcoal and chalk.
Boz left Iran in March of 1978 and attended San Diego State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering in May of 1983. Although he majored in Civil Engineering, he cultivated his passion for art by taking several courses in oil painting, watercolors, modern art, wood crafting and ceramics.
Since 2007, Boz has been active in exhibiting his artistic works. He has had successful exhibitions domestically (Santa Monica, Los Angeles, and San Diego) and internationally (Marbella, Spain). His mission is to create art that reflects the main tenets of Zoroastrianism: “Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds”. The overall legacy of his artwork is to help display the good side of the human spirit and the interconnect
